Important Information for the GP

Under Schedule 11, certain groups of patients identified by the Department of Health are eligible for treatment at NHS expense:

• Severe pelvic injury
• Prostate Cancer

• Renal failure treated by transplant or dialysis

Writing on NHS Prescription

Prescriptions for patients who are eligible under Schedule 11 categories should be written on an FP10 and clearly endorsed SLS (Special List Scheme). The prescription must include the name of the devices, the order code and the pip code.
